Children's Dance Instructor
Lisa began her dance training in ballet, tap and jazz at the age of three. Growing up in NJ, Lisa had the privilege of both studying and performing professionally in New Jersey & New York City throughout her childhood. Lisa's early training began with the NJ School of Ballet, and at the Broadway Dance Center, Steps Studio and Phil Black Studio in New York. As a young dancer some of Lisa's performance credits include dancing with the New Jersey Ballet Company in the Nutcracker Suite, off Broadway in Give My Regards to Broadway & Babes in Toyland . Lisa was also chosen to participate in a Spring Ballet Workshop under the instruction of American Ballet Theater's Edward Villella. Lisa is also a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor and currently teaches various forms of dance and Zumba to children and adults.
Lisa continues to further her education by regularly attending dance classes, workshops and Instructor trainings. As a dance teacher Lisa strives to teach her students critical dance and movement skills and self expression through dance while instilling confidence, poise, grace and self esteem.
Lisa lives with her family in Georgetown and has 2 boys ages 5 and 9. Lisa is looking so forward to sharing her passion for dance with her students at PGH.
