Certified Yogakids Facilitator
Lisa has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching children’s yoga since 2005. She is a certified yoga instructor at the 200 hour level with Yoga Alliance. In addition she completed
an extensive children’s training with Yogakids International making her a Certified Yogakids Facilitator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology with a minor in
Education from UMASS Amherst and has eleven years experience in Early Childhood Education. Lisa lives in Georgetown with her sons, ages four and six. Her mission as a children’s instructor is to share yoga with children inspiring a love for yoga that may last a lifetime. She
strives to foster children’s self esteem by encouraging physical fitness, healthy life habits, and providing them with tools to deal with stress. She encourages children to be good to themselves, others, and the world around them. She has a fun-loving, easy going approach and all ages love her! In addition to teaching and practicing yoga she enjoys being outdoors, especially hiking and going to the beach with her two boys.
