Director and Founder of Peace, Groove & Happiness Kids Yoga Studio
Kimberly is certified/trained in traditional Hatha Yoga At the Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Level, through Sylvia Clemente, Director of A Yoga Practice in Georgetown, MA, who inspired her to bring this dream to fruition. She is certified to teach yoga to children through the Color Me Yoga Program with her mentor Marsha Metzger and also through the Karma Kids Yoga program in New York. Kimberly is passionate about always remaining a student herself and most recently attended a Next Generation Yoga Retreat with Jodi Komitor, one of the leading pioneers in yoga for children.
Kimberly now lives in Boxford with her husband and three sons, but grew up on the beautiful island of Key West, and was raised by an Artist and Yogi, whose most precious gift to her was to allow her to live in the moment, appreciate the beauty around her, and empower her to dream big. While she didn’t begin her formal Yoga training until later in life, she credits her childhood surroundings and her upbringing, for building the foundation of what has become her passion to date. Kimberly feels blessed to be able to be a full time mom to her boys while still fulfilling her childhood dream of teaching and empowering kids.
She brings years of dance and gymnastics experience to the mat and years of art and creative writing to the classroom. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Her playful nature creates a safe and encouraging environment in which to explore, challenge and discover, while encouraging her students to trust the wisdom of their bodies.
